Kiwi Katapult Competition – Win flights from Europe to New Zealand

TERMS AND CONDITIONS         

1.     The promotional materials, including information on how to enter the promotion, form part of these terms and conditions. Entry into the promotion is deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.

2.     Entry is open to EU residents aged 18 years and over.

3.     To enter customers must play the Kiwi Katapult game and complete the online entry form at www.kiwikatapult.com.

4.     The promotion period commences 10 February 2009 and closes on 30 April 2009 at midnight.

5.     PRIZE: The prize consists of two return adult (one pair) Air New Zealand Premium Economy class flights from London Heathrow to New Zealand and feeder flights between a major European city and London Heathrow with one of Air New Zealand’s partner airlines. (Visit www.airnewzealand.eu for the list of eligible European cities).

6.     The winner will be randomly drawn from a prize pool on 01 May 2009 and the winner will be notified via email by 20 May 2009.

7.     The maximum value of the prize is up to EUR7,000.

8.     New Zealand Trade and Enterprise and Air New Zealand accept no responsibility for any variation in prize value.

9.     The prize travel is valid for 12 months from date the winner is notified. The winners and their nominated travel companion must have departed before 30 April 2010.

10.   Flights are subject to availability.

11.   Blackout travel dates when travel is not permitted apply. These include the periods of: 23 June 2009 – 31 August 2009, 07 December 2009 – 23 February 2010 and 21 March 2010 – 21 April 2010

12.   The prize is not transferable. If the winner and the winner’s travel companion are unable to travel in accordance with the blackout date restrictions above, the winner shall be deemed to have forfeited the prize.

13.   Flights must be booked at least four (4) weeks before departure date.

14.   Fuel surcharge tax is included.

15.   Airport, security taxes and passenger facility charges are NOT included

16.   Accommodation, travel insurance and all other expenses including (but not limited) to spending money, meals, tips, ground transportation and vaccinations are NOT included

17.   No cash or credit alternatives will be offered.

18.   The flight tickets are non-negotiable and under no circumstances are permitted to be upgraded.

20.   Airpoints™ Dollars cannot be accrued on prize air travel.

21.   The winner and their travel companion are responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documentation including passports and visas where applicable.

22.   New Zealand Trade and Enterprise and Air New Zealand assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.  The organisers reserve the right to verify the validity of entries.

23.   Neither New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, Air New Zealand nor any other person or party associated with this promotion shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss or damage) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with either participation in this promotion or with any prizes offered.

24.   Air New Zealand collects participants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the participant may not take part in the promotion. Please refer to Air New Zealand’s Privacy Policy at www.airnz.co.nz/privacy_policy.htm  regarding the collection, use and storage of personal information.

25.   New Zealand Trade and Enterprise/Air New Zealand, its employees and their immediate families, participating agents and their associated agencies are ineligible to enter. Air New Zealand reserves the right to verify the validity of entries.

26.   The Prize-winners agree to be interviewed and photographed and agree to be available for interviewing, photography and for other public relations and promotional activities associated with this competition, as required by the Organisers. The Travellers consent to their names, photographs and likenesses being recorded, reproduced, published, copied, communicated and otherwise used by the Organisers for advertising, publicity and promotional purposes in any television programme, video recording, or printed or electronic materials throughout the world, in perpetuity, and without the need for any compensation other than the prize.

27.   The prize draw will be governed by New Zealand Law and New Zealand Trade and Enterprise’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

28.   The winners name(s) will be made available on request in writing to Air New Zealand Limited, Hammersmith Grove, London, W6 7EN by 29 May 2009.
